	Getting ground ready for melon planting. Laying plastic mulch conserves moisture and helps to control weeds so we don't have to apply herbicides.

	Our 2 largest watermelons we have ever grown. One was 123 pounds, the other was 121 pounds. We won 2nd and 3rd prize at the Port Elgin Pumpkin festival.
